Lush Vlad
Hope he can build on this. MOTM this. I think he’ll be seeing some meaningful minutes the next few league games.
Erikse
Hopefully will give him a bit of needed confidence in both his ability, and his body. He took some hits tonight, but he made it through in style.

Newcastle Fan
Now that's the Joe Willock we all know, so glad he stepped up today and proved his value for the team
Holloway
pleased for him and us, hope he can get back to the level he's shown

Thought he handled the rough stuff well today, he came in for a lot of it.
M1tche
I thought he was out for ages against when he went down, glad he came through that. That, and opening up his legs properly few times, will likely give him about the same if not more confidence than the goals.
Aiston
Great to see him have a good game, hopefully helps build up his confidence.

Really feels like he goes 90% at times through fear of doing himself again. Just needs to get passed that barrier to be back to his best.
Kid Icarus
Just what he needed for his confidence. Was always far too early to write a player of his ability off

Sibierski
When he plays like he did LW, it makes selling Barnes in summer even more logical.
Pablo123
His ball carrying ability is superb, he needs the end product, though. I really like the way he plays, but he never seems to have a run of games to get up to his top level without getting injured.
The Butcher
Dunno if he has a 'best' position. He needs space to run into, be it right, left or in the middle.

Facundo Ferreyra
Really happy for him, hope he can build on his performance today. He's not played consistently enough to get back to the level he was at a few years ago.
Gazzaschicken
Great performance but reckon he will be away in the summer based of his comments in the interview after the game. Kids itching to play regularly
David Edgar
He'll need to find a mid to lower table club to play regularly. He doesn't have the all-round game to play for us.

Kids itching to play regularly Perfect opportunity for him to step in and step up as a league starter for the next three weeks. He should play City, Forest, Liverpool, FA Cup and Brentford if Joelinton needs to be wrapped in cotton wool until at least the West Ham game. That’s a run of six games to get his form up including yesterday’s outing.

The LCM spot is the one that’s available, then if he wants to play in Europe, he’s not going to be a regular for anyone in Europe.

That’s a run of six games to get his form up including yesterday’s outing. Brentford is later, in April. Think he'll be involved but there might also be some horses for courses, with Miley getting some game time if we are under the cosh and need to retain possession. I was defending Willock massively last season as I thought he was integral to the fourth place finish, and I get the point he needs minutes, but I'm still thinking that yesterday was against a lower league opposition so I'm not getting too excited yet. Loved his movement for the winner though. Edited February 9 by Elma
