  1. 1. We going down then or what? 10 - aye, doomed, no hope of salvation / 5 - can't call it / 0 - nah we're sound, can't wait for next season

Think that's the bottom 3 pretty much done now, unless Stoke can pull out a win at West Ham.

Don't like Huddersfield at all but it's good to have them around to take 20th spot next season. Ok, 19th if Cardiff come up.

I'm hoping for a Stoke win now, just to inject some life into things at the bottom. Southampton's world has fallen apart, at one point today they were moving out of the relegation zone, now 5 from safety and looking dead and buried.

Swansea closest to the drop now. And they still have Soton and Stoke to play.

Surely this means we can be mathematically safe quite soon?

Well they're 5 points ahead of Southampton and this would only give us an extra 3 'mathematical' points so at the moment I don't think it matters

13/14 was just boring. Horrible feeling of apathy from the Spurs home defeat in February onwards for me.

That game was horrific. Krul deciding after the performance in 1-0 win away he'd just gift them 4 goals. Us not trying after the first one went in.

Marveaux being the scapegoat for not turning it round within the last 20 minutes.

With a lot of the teams still to play against each other, is it even mathematically possible that we can go down if we win tomorrow?

Southampton and Stoke can get a maximum of 15 points (meaning 43 would actually be survival). We’d be on 41 tomorrow.

But Stoke have to play Palace, Swansea & West Ham, Southampton still have to play Swansea etc. And 8 teams would have to overtake us for us to finish in the bottom 3. They all cant pick up points and overtake us if they have to play each other.

It’d be a huge bit of maths to work it all out  But it’d be one bizarre set of results, if it is possible at all?

Edit - Just had a proper look and aye, it is possible we could go down but it’d require such a bizarre set of results that it’s never in a million years going to happen.
