David Icke - Son of God
Lose Colo and we're done. I fear you might be right. Can't see us signing two centre backs this window even if he does leave.

Ketsbaia
Lose Colo and we're done. Yep, that'll finally get me fearing the drop. How could we recover? Colo leaving would be symbolic of a much bigger general problem.
Willow
Lose Colo and we're done. I fear you might be right. Can't see us signing two centre backs this window even if he does leave. I agree. Not signing 2 CBs and we're fucked.
merlin
If Colo leaves before Jan 31, we are now at 8...at least that's my new number.
ElDiablo
I think it's taken a massive jump even if he stays, that uncertainty and negative attention will have a big effect I think.
Guest The Boo She
Too quick to jump to conclusions. The team's performance this weekend against Norwich will be the judge to see if the Colo story is true or not.
Guest
Isn't that what they said about us last time? I don't think so, last time relegation looked inevitable. This time it's only possible IMO. We were 11th this time in 2009 with three points more than we have now, how did it look inevitable? Weren't we only 2-3 points off the bottom then though? This time we're 4 points clear. There hasn't been a 'Hull' this year and all the teams you expect to be down there, are there this time. I'll admit, after we beat Pompey & Spurs back to back that winter I thought we'd be fine and was wrong. This time though, I can't see the likes of QPR, Reading and Southampton just to name 3 that will pick up more points than us before May.

Guest
Huh? That season at this stage we were mid table position wise, but the team bottom were one win away from leap frogging us. Not sure what's funny.
Spudil
It sounds funny.
Doug
10 Doomed now. Lose your best players Ba then Colo what a fucking joke run club this is once again.
BottledDog
This Colo bollocks will see the squad bind together. 1 or 2 players added, Debuchy and Hba terrorising left backs left right and centre, and the beast finally unleashed in Papiss up top will see us fine. 3. Dokko
Already at 9, Colo leaves and we do nowt about it then we really need to add 11 on the list.
Pixelphish
Already at 9, Colo leaves and we do nowt about it then we really need to add 11 on the list. I cannot believe we're in this position. Beyond belief.
alexf
honestly think we're fucked now. all we're missing now is a manager sacking and a joe kinnear type to put the final nail in the coffin.
David28
Think if Colo leaves, it'll smell like relegation really. Losing our two of our best - if not best - players in a couple of days... I'm a bit lost for words tbh. Could only happen here.
TRon
First time I've even opened this thread this season. I still don't think we'll allow Colo to leave so it's a 4 from me. We'll be safe as long as we don't do anything daft this window.
AyeDubbleYoo
First time I've been genuinely scared. If we try to finish this season with Perch and Williamson as our CBs then there is a very good chance we'll only pick up a handful more points. Decky
We deserve to go down if we let Colo go and don't replace him properly, while also not getting the other CB we need.
David28
We deserve to go down if we let Colo go and don't replace him properly, while also not getting the other CB we need. We won't replace him with a player of the same quality. Impossible imo. And I'm optimistic normally.
AyeDubbleYoo
We deserve to go down if we let Colo go and don't replace him properly, while also not getting the other CB we need. It's certainly not a result you could be surprised at.
oldtype
Even if Coloccini stays things will not be right in the camp. I know I'm basically going from a 1 to a 7~8 in the space of a day here, but we feel like team that's going to be relegated.
AyeDubbleYoo
We really need to spank Norwich with a couple of Cisse goals to get people smiling again.
Pilko
We really need to spank Norwich with a couple of Cisse goals to get people smiling again. Agree. I think a good old-fashioned win would do wonders at the moment.
