It used to be that shorts can be the same colour as long as shirt and socks are different, dunno when that changed.

 

Well, in the Prem it was anyway, maybe not International.

You rarely see teams with change home shorts nowadays.

 

We used to wear the B&W with white shorts or white socks in the event of a clash but it seems away kits are now worn in the event of any clash or for marketing purposes.

I used to quite like it when we wore the home shirt with white shorts n socks at Man U, and mackems away.

Pretty sure they are stupid rules with shorts/socks matching the shirt.
