Eddie Howe - Admitted to Hospital; To miss Man United (H)

Recommended Posts

Wonder if he's got the flu-like virus that's been doing the rounds. Knocked me out for just shy of a fortnight from a few days after Wembley. Had several people from work off with it too. Grim like, I definitely should have gone to the doctors, still got a lingering cough now FFS.

Get well soon Eddie, whatever your ailment.

Purely anecdotally, I have two friends who’ve both been bed ridden with flu like symptoms and fever this week. Apparently absolutely awful. So it could be something similar.

Missus was similar last weekend. Completely wiped her out for a good few days.

Is it just the Brits, that whatever time of year and whatever the illness. By law they have to mention ‘there’s something nasty going about’ or a similar variation on the saying. When you mention you’re ill? Or do other countries do it and all?

Wouldn't be surprised if it's Influenza B.

Like a bad flu at the start of contracting it and then it worsens at its peak around 4/5 days until it tails off around 8/9 days at best or 14 at worst.

As mentioned a few pages ago - hes mentioned he spent 'a day at the dentist' in the presser for the Leicester game - see 1st 25 seconds ish.

So maybe an infection or reaction to some meds?

Either that or Tindall talked him into getting some turkey teeth and its not gone to plan

Aye I've been buckled for a week with lethargy and aches in my legs and stotting bad heads.

Hopefully he has something similarly low key coupled with his work ethic and it's just hit him a bit harder than most.

Tantastic to deliver the win for EH tomorrow:indi:
