We haven't played well or been fun to watch so far this season. In fact I don't remember when we last did/were. I haven't looked forward to us playing for a long time and that's concerning. Feels like it's gone stale and that we need a boost of some sort.

Things are a bit stale, some poor decision making at either end of the pitch and the side are lacking some confidence/motivation for whatever reason.

 

I'd be looking at a bit of a fire sale and a mini rebuild. We've got some really great things about our squad.

 

I'd pretty much take offers for most of our players, in order to be able to do some business in the transfer market.

 

Eddie Howe is, at minimum, a good manager. We've had 3 managers in the PL era who can sit at the same table as him, in 30 years of football.

 

In my opinion, losing him would be catastrophic. 

 

Whose job is it to motivate the team/make them confident?

 

Why are top drawer talents consistently underperforming?

 

Why can't we close out games? Where is our defensive steel against non-Cartel clubs?

 

I would personally want satisfactory answers to these questions before you reload the squad with a new crop of talent, and potentially shave a few years off our football-watching life.

To be fair, I think most of us talk about football with other fans away from the football forum and Twitter. There’s a good section of the people I know starting to ask questions and think about who might replace him. I wouldn’t say it’s nowhere near.

Yeah someone above said we have only been poor for 13 games but it's a lot longer than that , you could argue we have been up and down for the best part of a year now, since we beat Man United at home this time last season when it should have been about 5-0 we have never really consistently looked anywhere near our best.

My take on it is if we’re not going to make significant signings in January, make a managerial change because he’s take this group of players as far as he can. 
if we plan to sign no one or we can’t sign anyone, we need fresh ideas and a new direction to inject some life into the existing squad.
