Have no idea what your plan was there Edward, but I love you anyway.

Don't think there was one beyond pick the best available players in whatever weird formation they fit in.

He was and will be fuming about the game today. Felt he got it wrong but players also let him down today.

Felt the 3 at the back was a mistake and it seemed that way first half. But then taking Gordon off and putting Burn left back again after we haven't done that all season was also very odd.

Hopefully it's a necessary evil though to help move along certain players that have out lasted their time here.

Putting a side the raw disappointment of one game, Amazing accomplishments this year. Champions league and a cup win means this has to be the best season I have witnessed in my lifetime.

He's a credit to the club and the city and I just hope the finances can support him to be better prepared for a proper tilt at European football this time.

Interesting quote from him

"We've had a very good season with Champions League qualification and a cup win, but obviously the cup win feels less special now that Spurs and Palace have won something"

I don’t know if tactics were the problem today, we just looked really nervous and kept making tons of mistakes.

Hindsight is a great thing, but I think playing 3 CBs hurt us offensively when we were trying to break them down. We were a lot better after we completely changing the system in the second half. The changes were good mind.

I'm glad it's rather happier now, as I’m baffled by some of the comments.  The teams we were competing with, Forest, Villa, Chelsea, and Man City, have all strengthened over the last two years. We added kids, a reserve GK to get around PSR and Osula.

Eddie has worked miracles with the squad he has, absolute miracles.

Thank you King Edward for the greatest season of my football supporting life. You've worked fucking wonders.

Loved his restraint at full time, displaying exactly why he will go to the very top.

Exactly this. I think he looked raging. Angry af.

Wether at himself, the team or the way it panned out? He still knows more than any smart arse cunt on here who's knowledge of football, written on a bit of paper, couldn't wipe his arse.

He knows what we need and the only conversation that has any, serious, relevance to our future is the one Howe had with Yasir at the end there.

Why does getting beat equal bottling it.  If Schar has stuck away the chance from inside the 6 yard box, would that still have meant we bottled it ?

Bottled it is such a load of shite.

A large part of the reason we lost was a lack of composure. The pressure got to the team and we were unable to play.  We lost our nerve in that second half.

That was probably the worst performance of the season. Up there with West Ham at home. &nbsp

That second half was pure panic.

None of that when you're not playing that well means you've bottled it.  After what these players, manager and staff have achieved with the ridiculous PSR rules is amazing, and to call them bottlers is insulting, and just imo utterly wrong.

We bottled a single game.  It’s not the end of the world.

If this was another club we would say they bottled that game without argument.

Evidently - we are not a team of bottlers. Whenever we’ve had to get a result previously we have. But today? We bottled it.

Man U and Ferguson were serial winners. But They bottled the league in 2012 the Aguerooooo year. They were 8 points ahead with 5 games to go or something like that. Drew at home to Everton after being 4-2 up. At 4-3 they lost their nerve - you could feel it in the atmosphere.

This. Trophy and Champions League. Stuff of dreams. With a very narrow and at places limited squad. What a hero he is.

Others have already posted my thoughts on today and the season as a whole so I’ll just say that we’re incredibly lucky to have him and long may he represent NUFC with such poise and expertise.

He’s the real deal, lads.

Believe.
