Vinny Green Balls Posted Sunday at 18:06 Share Posted Sunday at 18:06 (edited) Is it the purpose of the forum? For some maybe. But I see this too often with everything here. People think of a doomsday scenario, then treat it as gospel. I know that you aren't doing that right now. But there is probably not much reason to beconcerned until a report of something seriously concerning comes out. It's just been since Friday. Newcastle Fan Posted Sunday at 18:08 Share Posted Sunday at 18:08 Wish him a speedy recovery, knowing him it's takes a lot to get him to not attend a game or training. Tindal said he got a congratulations text from him after the game which was nice.
Ste Posted Sunday at 18:09 Share Posted Sunday at 18:09 Don’t find Howe not talking to the players alarming. He has full trust in his team and he makes it so everyone knows the expectations and the tactics.

Jonas Posted Sunday at 19:55 Share Posted Sunday at 19:55 Taking a positive from that. Had a few illnesses in recent years where I couldn't be arsed to even type out a message. Though am more Bruce than Howe with the work ethic admittedly

Shush Posted Sunday at 19:59 Share Posted Sunday at 19:59 (edited) Mad to think very early in the season so many of us had a wobble about our erratic form and dared to ask the question if Eddie might not have the answer as things looked stale and jittery. How stupid do I feel now for having a moment like that looking back. Never again will I question him. Not only did he have the answers, he's evolved the side in to a far more sustainable quality side. One that's been without Botman, large spells without Pope, galvanised Tonali, improved Isak further, got Murphy churning out assists and goals... oh and were right in the mix in the final end of season games for top 4, CL football... and also got our first trophy in decades. If I'm going to be wrong at any point, more than happy to end up overweight from all the humble pie I've eaten. Great win today. I really hope we keep this going, certainly like us to beat Palace. Villa away will be very tough, but I'm backing us to have a really good run to finish the season. It bodes well for a great summer transfer window. If we do get CL football we can look for a few more players of high quality to add to the side, and next season will be extremely exciting. Hope Eddie is all better and in dug out for the next game.
