What's awesome about Eddie is how calculated and measured he is in everything he says to the press. In some parts of the world people HATE that  but I bloody love it.

I literally can't remember a single incident since he's been boss that he's put his foot in it. It's mind-boggling really. How can you do interview after interview for 4 years, and say the right thing word for word every single time

By all accounts Howe is very different behind closed doors like. You can see it in those Bournemouth training videos when he's telling them their finishing is piss poor

That just makes your estimation of him go up another few notches tbh.

Robson was the same by all accounts. You have to have a bastard streak in you somewhere to make it to the top.

His football mind is unrivalled really, second only to his appreciation of the Greggs menu.

Not to mention his prose. Proper Agatha Christie, wor Steve.

I wonder if Brucie had more than ‘we’ll dust waselves down…’ in his locker…?

In his actual locker? Probably a stash of microwavable minute burgers, a couple of used dog shit bags that are a few days old, a signed photo of Bernard Manning and some Lynx Africa.

TBH I think I’ll have to stop supporting the club if he ever leaves. It’s the rational response.

I'm really gonna struggle with this whenever it happens. Every setback we have he's my fallback, I know he'll be on to the problem methodically and always representing us well.

That's why I'm determined to enjoy him while he's here, we could be living the glory years right now by our recent modern standards and I'm not gonna waste them moaning he's not perfect.

Keegan was pure emotion and passion

Howe is pure logic and professionalism

they are both the opposite ends of the spectrum stylistically but both had NUFCs best interests at heart and we are benefitting hugely from it

Some would say that he seemed a bit "unprepared" when he was asked about the ownership in one of his first interviews. Atleast he did give the drama thirsty some fuel that time around. He actually gave a somewhat different answer the next time he was asked about it. That's the only one I can remember where he said something that would cause a bit of noise, which seems to be what he allways wants to avoid.

Eddie was appointed on 8 November 2021, so coming up to four years. What a four years it's been.

Fingers crossed for some luck with injuries, so we can get to see him work with the squad options he finally has.
