This time we got maximum, but games LIKE this. Could have easily dropped points against Palace already

Fuck you on about m8?

What I am saying is that when we totally lack control of the game and give too much turnovers, these poor teams will get results from us. Same happened with Palace they had plenty of chances to score and today could have gone either way in the end.

Great result in the end, but dont let it mask the problems in our game.

So because we didnt, then that is fine?
Doesnt really work like that. Scousers won at SJP and I dont think many were happy about that performance.

If your instinct in the aftermath of that is to whinge about the manager then you might be a mackem or need to find a new hobby.

OK. I will whine if we win or lose if we play poorly.

I actually agree with you, but I would suggest basking in the glory of winning an all-timer and then having a whinge tomorrow.  We were poor for (large) parts of the match but ultimately you can’t put a price on winning a game like that.

My lass has been off work with the flu so I had to give me ticket to me Da so I can tend to the brats, so imagine how I feel now

His ability to still lead a team who will run through brick walls for him is what is making the difference at the moment. We continue to look so unconvincing and chaotic in most areas, but the team has loads of quality and combining that with the desire to win - and give everything for the shirt - is getting us results. Adore the bloke and the players obviously do too.

Except no one wants to hear about positive underlying stats when we’re losing, so it’s just negative at all times.

Really? I think if we lose, play well and are just unlucky then that is certainly a good thing. Then there are these things called draws…

We still haven't really clicked tbh, but three wins on the bounce will help. Also Howe's confidence in his Plan A should eventually trranslate on the pitch just through familiarity. Losing Isak meant a big adjustment and we are still working it out.

Winning epic games in a shaky fashion is definitely better than losing while dominating possession

Or maybe just enjoy coming out on top of an absolutely mental game of football? How is this remotely the time to be having the "this is why that was shit, actually" conversation

The result is great. I am over this game by tomorrow so not going to write about it.

But what I dont get is:

lose a game (no matter how we play)

—>”Howe out, he is shit, no plan b”

win a game (no matter how we play)

->”what a legend, stfu you whiners”

Makes no sense to me.

Totally, but that is not what I am saying. What I said was: I dont want him gone, but I hope he changes our way of play so that we control the game a bit more.

but apparently it was blasphemy.

Great subs, in both who came on, who came off; but most importantly who he kept on.

Unlike him to make half time subs too. Usually critical of his subs despite my love for him. He went early tonight which is a good thing

I enjoyed it. But was just worried about future. This great win doesnt help by any means when we draw with Wolves or something. A team we should beat.
