PauloGeordio
David Hopkinson on Eddie Howe’s future: "I don't have a stance on his future. What I can tell you is that the derby loss hurt. We take it seriously. There's nothing within us that thinks, "Well, it's just three points and on we go". It has resonated. I spent a couple of hours in a one-on-one lunch recently with Eddie and we talked through a multitude of things, including that. 'Eddie's our manager. I expect to have a great run to the end of the season here and we'll talk about the future when it's time. Right now, we're focused on this season's competition." "We are not looking to make a change at the moment. We are not having those conversations. We are still in the midst of the season. Right now we are focused on the seven matches we have remaining and not distracting ourselves with speculation about what we may or may not do in the summer. Right now, all of us have only got so much bandwidth and we are focused on this season and finishing strongly" Edited March 31 by PauloGeordio

People tearing down their Live, Laugh, Love signs in anger. Cant fucking stand talking about the cunts, let alone rage on Facebook about them. Zero
I would be honest. You shouldn’t say this publicly, and if you do so, it should be an ultimatum

AmericanLooneyToon
As someone who has grown up in the states watching most sports, you rarely here someone speak like that about their manager. It's just not smart to do because the media loves to jump at shit like that. I think it may just be a tactic to show the fans they aren't happy but I just hope it isn't more then that. So many problems come from Isak leaving. Eddie is gonna be more determined then ever to right the ship. He's earned the right to prove that.

All it says to me, is what I can't get my head around with fans as a whole, how we should judge the season at the end of the season, let's see how the last 7 games go before we step back and look at the big picture, getting dumped out of the League Cup, FA Cup and CL in quick succession, followed by losing to the morlocks for the second time this season, all within a few weeks is bound to leave a bitter taste in the mouth, but the season is so much more than that short period of time and ultimately the success of this season is still not finalised. BennyBlanco
It don’t look good. looking at it from Howes perspective though - he probably knows he’s in for a shitter of a summer. Most of the old guard and main dressing room characters are going to have to be moved on as well as a couple of our “stars” if the media is to be believed. He’s not just got to rebuild us tactically, he’s got to rebuild the dressing room morale, get the right bods in to create a positive atmosphere. Can he be arsed? Especially given the budget ain’t as big as we have been led to believe. It’s a bit of a perfect storm.

If he blindly goes in favour of Howe it upsets a section unhappy with this season. If the message is different it detracts from the remainder of the season. I don’t think changing managers is in our plans but I don’t think it hurts to be a bit ambiguous too.

Motivation is, if the issue is Howe, he knows whst he needs to do. If the issue is the players, and they want Howe to stay, then they know what thry need to do. It's a reasonable run in bar arsenal away. It should have started last weekend, it hasn't and our ceo has called them out on it. I'm all for it as nothing else has worked this season. Drewboy74
Not really sure what's gone on but the little I've read on this it's just gonna be more unnecessary questions for Howe to answer.
