Same stupid questions are being asked over and over because no one ever provides any actual answers. All we get is the same Hodors with the same "Eddie is our King" responses.
If you want people to stop talking about it (on a Newcastle United discussion forum by the way) provide an adequate response rather than blanket statements with no actual substance.

I'm going to be blunt, this is complete bollocks. Not just others, but you specifically have had plenty of engagement, not just from me (where we've debated fairly and in good faith) but plenty of others too. To retrospectively strawman all that as you asking questions and being met with "Eddie is our king" responses is just plain daft, particularly to anyone who's engaged with you.

Reading those quotes again I'm pretty confident he'll be gone at the end of the season like. Whether it's Howe's own choice or not who knows, but I really hope I'm just being needlessly cynical because I'll be absolutely gutted.

If he was, I'd fucking love him to go to a team with a squad that can spend. He'd do wonders at any team without taking the piss but if spurs stayed up i'd love him to go there and piss on all the doubters. If eddie walked out on us tonight i'd not blame him

If Howe goes, and I can't believe this is even in discussion, we'll be appointing different managers every year.

Disagree, based on how long we take to do things, it will take us years to appoint one.

Never know, Hoppy might have a little black book of upcoming managers with all the stat requirements.

What can be achieved at those clubs isn't the same as what can be achieved here. He'd really need to go to Villa to prove that.

You thought we were eliminated from the CL in the league phase, wind your neck in.

If the club, fans, players, force him out, we deserve everything we get.

What a fuckin shit show of a bloke Hopkinson must be if these rumours are true.

Aye, probably not rumours but people reading between the lines of his quotes.

I'm well aware that this is a forum for discussion. Rather patronising post by the way. I've posted multiple times and reasons as to why I think Howe is irreplaceable at this time. What I haven't done is call people Hodors or Fanboys or whatever childish name  because they have an opposing view to what I have.

No, but you did call us armchair managers because we have an opposing view to you - not a million miles away is it?!

This is true 😀 but again, not really relevant to the discussion pal. I’m guessing Eddie is your King?

It was a response directed to you Holmesy. Fair do's I should have replied to your post. However, ever since you posted that we got knocked out at  the League phase of CL and also some of your comments regarding Howe I've concluded that you are/have

1. Short term memory loss (no laughing matter)

2. On the wind up (childish name calling)

3. A child

4. Short term memory loss (no laughing matter)

5. Eni Aluko

Honest question from a somewhat new NUFC supporter and "soccer" dilettante. Has Eddie run the same 4-3-3 his entire time here? Was it the same at Bournemouth? It seems a scrappy formation intended to counter teams who are technically superior and more talented. Is that the case? And if it is, could his devotion to the 4-3-3 be a hindrance to us signing some of the better technical players?

Well, I guess that's more than one question, but they're all honest, so please don't rip my head off.

No need to apologize for being American here man. Fuck these tea sucking monocle nonces. Throw them a USAUSAUSA

Eddie Howe does not need any of us to defend him, his record at the club both in terms of results and player development speak for themselves. If it is not good enough for some people so be it.

I am sure he would rotate more if he felt the squad was strong enough to allow it. I am sure he would substitute quicker if he felt his bench was strong enough. I am sure he would have evolved our tactics if the summer hadn’t been such a disaster and he had more time on the training pitch.

Yes we spent a lot of money in the summer and it hasn’t all worked out yet, but the timing of the sale (which I doubt was Howe’s doing) and the fact we lost a world-class striker are not excuses, just reality. Our whole game was built around Isak.

Perhaps it is because I have waited 55 years to see Newcastle win a trophy that I have more patience than some, but I believe Eddie has done way more than enough to be given the respect of being allowed to continue to lead the team forward.

He always said he would stay at the club as long as he felt wanted and I believe he would.

Eddie is not my king, but he as my upmost respect and gratitude for what he has done for the club and how he has represented us.

If the club decide what has happened this season means we need a change, I would assume that will have come from PIF rather than Hopkinson.

People talk about him learning from his mistakes because he’s a student of the game. There’s absolutely no sign of it! Just more of the same old shit, and the fateeeeeg argument doesn’t wash any more. This is just tactical suicide against a team who were always going to play on the counter

You was saying the same shite in 2023 about Eddie.

Fateeeeeg ended up being the reason as proved by the results picking up and cup winning success the following season.

So wondering why you haven't learnt anything?  And why he doesn't have the benefit of the doubt?  But since you couldn't even follow your team within the Champions League without getting confused, your answer isn't worth much.
