Can't see him ever parting with Mad Dog. He said they were like a married couple recently. Ferguson did that quite well - moved on to different coaches when he thought change was needed.

It’ll never happen.

Inference - he says for his system to work he needs good athletes, ergo players being sold or freshening up the squad that this is going to be one of the primary considerations. As opposed to being good on the ball, intelligent in possession, 'having that bit of magic', linking up well with others, being that creative spark. Nope - athletes. I'm laboring the point now but if there was one primary characteristic of players in our squad that I don't think we need more of.. it's that.

Exactly. Well said.

Our squad has too many athletes and it's severely lacking in technical players. We have 1 though, wolte and so far it's been bad.

needs to get a new coach or two in.

Someone mentioned it in the presser - was a good point. Coaching staff needs new ideas

What was the response in the presser? I hadn’t watched it yet

Eddie replied that he would be receptive to any ideas that would take the club forward, whilst at the same time thinking, 'that ain't fucking happening,Louise'

"So uncharacteristic of us"

"Plenty of good things from that performance"

"I can and will do better"

"I ate a Jalfrezi so have fire in my belly"

Which one?

Everything comes not a natural conclusion, and this is it.

Thanks for Everything Eddie, but it’s time for a change.

Everything ends badly otherwise it wouldn't end, no room for sentiment in football.

Which one?

Certainly not the levels we demand from ourselves.

Which one?

I’m going for the Jalfrezi option
