Howe is my favourite Newcastle manager for winning us a trophy, I'll always love him but seriously why do you keep saying he will go on to bigger and better things? 

 

We are 14th after spending £250m in the summer, not sure why you think Liverpool or Arsenal are coming in for him honestly.

Mutual agreement for him to leave end of season similar to Iraola and he gets a huge sending off. He deserves it. He's been a legend for the club and I cannot understate how much I have enjoyed watching us in past seasons.

It's a hard one because he's an absolute awesome human. But it's not working at this point. It'll be a sad departure but possibly a necessary one. I don't get the anger aimed towards him mind. You can want a change without hostility to one of the best managers to ever grace this club.

Anyone in favour of him spending another penny of the club’s money needs to look at every signing post-Isak and give their head a wobble. I say that as someone who is massively appreciative of him as a person and what he’s done here.

There is no reaction or progress, wich is alarming. Not sure where the line is when it comes to enough is enough, but we cant rot up every game from now until the last game.

Howe FC fans inhaling their copium before typing up this weekend's and season's excuses right now with why he deserves the summer to turn it around

 

The best coach of my time supporting the club but he's just not astute or flexible enough as a coach at the moment to go any further and last summer has shown he isn't reliable with money. This isn't a reaction to this loss or the last loss or the one before but has been the case for a while now.

Last summer was a shit show and we can blame a lack of leadership since Staveley left but there's no excuse for not putting the effort in on the pitch.

I think Howe has been a great manager for us, but I support Newcastle not whichever manager we have. I can't believe anyone who supports Newcastle can't see what's happened this season.

We have regressed at an alarming rate and that is on the manager. Yes we have lost our main striker but so have a lot of other clubs lost a lot more players than us and looked alright.

I think it's his time to go.

Not advocating for Howe to stay (and I still wouldn’t hate it if he did) but I’m struggling to see how a new coach gets this current crop of players to be any more successful? Buying half a new team just is not feasible under the restrictions.

I agree, might be the last bet to just give these players that kick up the backside if they still care for their manager.

Controversial opinion. He doing well in a non European football season is nor impressive. Im sure he will turn thing around next season with no Europe and 8+ other teams in Europe. He is yet to prove he can handle a European season and won't be able to next season so we end up in the same cycle.
