17 league defeats this season. As many as Spurs ffs. Looks clueless now

Yet more wins than the team who finished 6th. Weird season.

Should really be straight on the phone to Iraola as soon as this game ends

We really should- he can bring Rayan with him

Wouldn’t expect many managers who oversee 17 defeats in a season after spending nearly £300m survive.

Trying to remind myself that my mood will lift and I'll get carried away the second we make a signing because this is absolutely depressing.

The evidence that things have run their course has piled up, It’s time for some proactive management from the board. I don’t want to see things get ugly next season.

It has to be said that not many clubs keep on the manager in this situation given the nature of a lot of these performances.

If PIF were more present owners I reckon Eddie would be gone. Eddie has alies I feel in the CEO and DOF

They are present, they want to give him another chance. They obviously feel like they let him down last summer. That being said this is elite football and room for sentiment is extremely small.

It feels like, since that meeting and with the purchase of Leazes terrace, that there’s been some reinvestment of interest. I don’t follow the transfer rumours but I get the impression that there’s some interesting names being brought up? My hope is that there is somebody behind the scenes who has suddenly switched on and will be thinking hard right now about Eddie’s future.

I reckon within a few weeks time we'll hear about a falling out between howe and Wilson over transfer strategy.

Howe doesn't want many new additions to the squad.

Howe would be a fucking idiot if that was the case. Most of us can see were staler than a 5 month old Jaffa Cake.

They're not present man - they attend about two games a year. They will be taking a steer from our DOF and our CEO

Changes needed in the dugout next season, if it's not Howe we desperately need new blood on the coaching team.

I heard they're installing new seating. 😂
