Some interesting man to man marking in open play. Worked tremendously well.  
 

My only criticism is I think we could’ve seen out more of the game with the ball. But we were away from home. We had more ability than them out on that pitch.

We've really sharpened up defensively and probably at a good time without Pope. I'm a massive critic of Dubravka but he's looked a bit better handling-wise and thankfully barely had a serious save to make all month.

 

Tonali just makes us look so fluid across the pitch and if he'd slotted that chance away today it's possibly NUFC goal of the decade.

 

Hope we can keep this good form going as long as possible, one or two additions in January and really make the most of the inconsistent league table to try and nail top 4.

Based on previous league results in this fixture, this was probably the least confident I've been with us 2-0 up with 80 minutes gone. This is in spite of beating them there in the cup.
