The same people, saying the same things they do every season and once again starting sentences with "I love Eddie but..." or "Im not saying id sack him but the Saudis might have to act." and all the usual bollocks.

Weve got a very good team, an excellent squad and we will win loads of games.

We aren't going to finish above Arsenal, City or Liverpool, ive seen nothing from the other sides that bothers me, including Chelsea.

In terms of unbearable fan bases, Liverpool will always be number one, Arsenal are a comfortable second, but we're right in contention after that.

Woltemade will settle in, Wissa will regain fitness with Ramsay and around November we'll become more potent in front of goal.

Possibly a little too late in the season for much impact but we'll be fine. European spots and a strong end to the season. Just gotta hope we can keep pace whilst we gel.

Eddie is our king.

You guys criticising other for being moaning or critical, you forget this is a place to discuss the situation. And if you can’t see issues or we are not allowed to discuss them what is the point of being here?

I will never forget the time of finishing 5th with Pardew and everyone could see we were riding our luck and the way we played were not sustainable. You are he same guys saying shut up, we are winning, you’re now allowed to say anything negative.

We are in a much better place today but surely doesn’t mean we are not allowed to discuss Eddie and how we play?

Especially after we haven’t won a game.

A draw at Bournemouth and by reading some of the wild takes on here and twitter you'd think we'd lost 5-0.

Some complete halfwits in our fanbase.

You don't seem to understand how opinions are a two-way street.

We are. The criticism seems hyperbolic after an away draw against the team currently sat third in the league though, especially given that they stuffed us 4-1 at home only a few months back; a scoreline that flattered us.

Despite Villas poor start to the season a draw away there isn't a bad result and we played well and arguably deserved to win.

A home tie to Liverpool is similarly difficult and especially with 10men. We were the better team then and lost, but losing to Liverpool (last years champions who have significantly re-strengthened is somewhat acceptable.

Leeds away was the most frustrating for me. Felt we should be winning that at our level even not at full strength if we want to be top 4.

EDIT: *We beat Wolves as expected in a game where we first had our new striker. It was never going to be a full-blooded, free-flowing performance as a result.*

Away to Bournemouth is a really tricky game for anyone in the league. I can accept a draw there after another decent performance.

Arsenal at home again is difficult and you'd like us to beat them but a draw wouldn't be the end of the world.

We're still coming together and gelling. It's a marathon not a sprint. Hopefully, we "click" as we get a good run of games and go on a streak. I don't think we've been poor once this season tbh, just limited because of our striker situation. I personally don't understand any worry around Howe (if there is any...) as its the club's/Isak's management of the summer that's ultimately got us here.

Interestingly, 2 years ago I'd wanted us to devise a new style of play - a "control" element if you like. We've got that with Woltemade and our away performances I feel. That will see us benefit a lot across the season. Just need to reinvigorate our ruthless/intense side.

Of course I do.

But there is contributing and giving your opinion about the team and match and commenting on other people being stupid or crazy for their opinion. I think you should stick to the first.

We still as a fan base has a small club mentality. Just because something good happened recently you are not allowed to be questioning the current situation.

I'm not questing Howe being here. But questioning his decisions at the moment.

And the fact that Isak's behaviour made life difficult pre season and leaves us down one of the best strikers in the world. Woltemade is new to the league and will need bedding in, the PL ready replacement got injured before ever kicking a ball for us, and Gordon got himself a 3 game suspension.

No shit we have some temporary issues going forward.

or you can grow a pair and accept the potential of criticism if you give an opinion instead of complaining about the criticism. This suppression of opinions by a clique bullshit keeps on rearing its ugly head on here whenever someone is challenged.

Chopping and changing managers serves nothing, clubs do it all the time and most of the time all it does is produce short term gain but long term stagnation.

You'd be absolutely mad to replace a guy who could easily be here for 20+ years who literally lives and breathes the club.

Sometimes he will get things wrong, but a cup and 2 CL qualifications in 4 years - what manager in the world gets that with a team that was facing relegation when he joined?

Which decisions out of curiosity?
