Your post just happened to be the last in a series which I found exasperating. Not just writing for you to read, as you are surely well aware. Just hoping to reality check or offer an alternate opinion.

Oh just give up man, we're all pissed off and neither of you said anything bad.

Plenty of things I think Howe could do better, but I'm ride or die for him. Wouldn't think about getting rid unless we were mathematically confirmed to be relegated.

The irony there is that Howe would do great in the Championship

I can't see Howe taking the England job. Don't think international football would suit him at all.

I don't think he would take it either but it might well suit him. Months on end between games to think about how he might approach them is probably more his pace than three games a week.

I don't mean that in a flippant way, btw. One game a week and he looks like a top ten manager in the world. Three a week and he's struggling.

I haven’t seen any evidence to suggest that he has another system to cope with all the games. It’s clear he’s trying to evolve the team by focusing on being better with the ball, but right now, too many players just aren’t suited to that style.

I still think he can evolve and improve with a greater load. Haven't seen it yet mind you, but he's still relatively new and probably soured by losing half the team in 23-24. But he's currently miles away from finding any balance.

I think he needs players to play his way, his fitness levels, etc. He's possibly restricting himself to selecting players from clubs who play with the same tactics he does otherwise.

Getting 'a reaction' from the same set of players immediately after the game you 100% needed 'the reaction' in just won't cut it anymore. There has to be a change of formation, attitude & mentality or personell or there will be a change of manager. Something major will change very soon with this squad and Howe. If Howe can't get a tune out of this squad then he'll get his cards, it feels like it's coming to a head recently and although today was only 1 game, it was a vital game and it was also one of the poorest performances we've given for years. No one should underestimate how badly losing a derby in the manner in which we did today affects fans. Today was massively damaging for Howe

I think this is a very realistic view of the situation.
