Paelladyce has a new weapon in his ARSENAL then. Love to see it.

Arsenal and Gabriel in particular do it all the time. I recall him getting praises from Sky for doing exactly this, earlier on the season.

A really creditable performance away against a title chasing team, especially the second half when you'd expect the legs to be going after the fixtures we've had and all the travel.

I don't think many held out much hope for this fixture beforehand, but we were an excellent save away at the end from grabbing a point. The players are definitely playing for Howe.

Hopefully a slightly less manic week this week with the Qarabag first leg having been so one sided. Stating the obvious, but Everton at home will be a huge one for the league run in and trying to build a bit of momentum.

Agree with all of this. Surprised how much we stuck with the press considering how leggy I was expecting us to be second half.

What has most impressed me from PSG onwards away from home. Is how we have gone some way to adapting our style or reverting back to what works for us. Had a lot more control over games and look far sharper on the ball.

I guess I was a bit worried that we might not have actually started to turn the corner. Seeing as it was a woeful Spurs team, 10 man Villa and then Qarabag’s suicidal defending. But I think after last night. It shows we are on the right track.

The Everton game will be a big test. As it’ll be the first one in a while where I don’t expect it to be end to end and our style won’t necessarily match up well against them. They will try to frustrate us and sit in a lot of the while. The players and the crowd will need to be patient if that ends up being the case.

It wasn't Eddie who said that, but it was him that "started it" by saying that Edwards taught him something for the first time.

So yeah, clearly despices him just like any sane person.

I know it was the press officer who prob hates Edwards more than all of us the odious little fucker

Eddie never said that though, someone else did.

Luke is obviously going to be pulled aside after that.

This is from a guy who admits that if the takeover don’t go through, then he was being summoned to Manchester for work because there was nothing to discuss at Newcastle or in the North East as far as football is concerned. You would have thought that he would try to play nice with the club so he stands a chance of having an inside scoop at some point, or to simply minimise his risk of never being allowed to ask questions again, and either being summoned back to Manchester or let go of.

Aye I know, it was the press officer who prob hates Edwards more than most

Edwards and Paperback draw the most blanks from Eddie,I bet he thinks they're a right pair of cunts

Ryder’s questions are laughably bad.

“How disappointed are you that you lost the game?”
“Losing a player to injury is a big blow isn’t it?”

”Are you happy you won the game?”

‘Now kids we have a very important guest visiting the school today, let’s try our best to ask them very good questions!’

Ryder such a simpleton.

One of Eddie’s most repeated phrases in his pressers is “what do you mean by that Lee?”

Although I should say, which I have plenty of times before, whilst you sometimes wonder whether English is Ryder’s first language, and some of his Chronicle stuff appears to be written directly for simpletons, you cannot question his commitment. Never misses a match, and Downie referenced him in one of his videos this week, saying he told him he got back from Baku at 9pm on Thursday night, then was at the training ground at 8am Friday for Eddie’s presser.

Aye, I know, but how many of the others do that?

All of the others miss matches at some point during the season, and fair enough cos it’s a job, and I’m sure they put family and other stuff before it.

Not RyDog though. You get the feeling it’s his life.

Big test this week for Howe. One of the main issues with him is rotation and valiant losses against top teams followed up by poor showings against midtable/poor teams.

Hope we rest players vs Qarabag and put in a solid effort against Everton

You’ve done him a massive favour there TBH. They’re all actually questions.
