More posts in this thread in the last 20 minutes than I have seen since the Brentford game 3 weeks ago, sums our fanbase up.

Might be as a reaction to a truly unacceptable performance.

Objectives have already been hit in the cups.

If we finished where we are now I think he'll be looked at and I cant blame them. They're not football people and will see a massive decline in the league irrespective of circumstanes.

I think to be fair you'd have to accept even as football people 13th or lower is unacceptable.

May as well wait for the end of the season (please, hurry) because we could just as easily finish 8th or 9th which would be fine, with the cups.

We weren't screaming for it when we were 13th in March last season. We fully backed the manager, and he wasn't as good a manager as Howe.

If he wasn't so damn charming you would be ;) (And many of you did).

(I'm not ready to let Eddie go just to clarify that)

it was shit but expected, we are a big game/cup team and have been for a while. Sounds ridiculous saying it but I was more confident of beating Man City or Barca at home than I was of winning today.

Yeah, god forbid fans actually react when results are shit. Two home defeats in a row against the might of Brentford and Everton and 12th in the table, but sure -  let’s all sit quietly and clap like seals. If questioning the manager after that “sums up our fanbase”, then the bar for discussion here is embarrassingly low.

That's the poorest I've seen from him today I think.

The starting XI was pretty strange anyway but the fact it took Joelinton shouting at the bench after 30 mins saying we need to get Gordon on the wing and Joe in the middle was mental

So what’s your thoughts on global

politics, let’s have a debate Sunderland’ guy? 😃

Global politics on a football related thread, really showing your intelligence daft lad. By the way how many posts have I made in the Sunderland thread? Again not intelligent enough to even come up with something that is actually accurate

Honestly this feels like our Pochettino at Spurs moment. It’s time for him to go at the end of the season but if we fuck in the replacement then the fans will clamour for Eddie back

I back him, but that Everton third was poor. Not sure I’ve seen a quicker goal after another team has scored. It’s the type of thing we’ve done all season. We’ve had a bit of time on the training pitch too.

We did kind of same v Brentford at home too

Exactly his point.

We haven't won any games that we wouldn't have expected to win. Not giving him a pat on the back for games we expect to win.
