Wouldn't trust that shithouse of a human being with 35p

You don’t know the guy personally so not sure how you’re supposed to know how he’d use that 35p.

No club in the world would pay £10m for Ritchie other than maybe Newcastle United.

Is that a criticism of us paying £10m for him in the first place? He’s been a great signing.

Nope, not at all. Just that he's not worth it now. He served a purpose, for sure.

Don't agree at all. £10m on Ritchie would be a low-risk signing for any Championship club with genuine aspirations of promotion; and if we were making him available, which we would be if we had any wit or ambition at all - I'd be insisting on offers over that. Same with Gayle. Both of them are machine-like at that level and they're only 29/30 so easily worth a three-year contract or whatever length of time normal clubs give to their new signings.

Rafa was slowly phasing him out though would’ve still got some game time this season as wasn’t pushing him out the door because of his attitude in training etc and general leadership. If there had a significant bid for him last summer he would’ve probably took it and put towards an upgrade.

It’s these tangibles people don’t take into account when those who ridicule the appointment of Bruce get criticised. Him and Shelvey deals say just as much about the club under Bruce as the actual poor results.

This latest injury will be telling as to whether or not he's 'done', but the bloke's energy and stamina had been absolutely exceptional up to now. Talent-wise his ceiling is mid-table, and I think he's more or less played at the same level he has since he day we returned to the PL. He'd be an incredible asset for any Championship team.

20m on Richie/Gayle would turn a team chasing play offs into top 2 in the Champ.

Gayle yeah, good championship player. Ritchie's not. He's done.

Sammy Ameobi scored 5 in the Champ this year.

Ritchie would easily get 10-15 in the Champ.

I honestly hope we find out next season. Shouldn't be anywhere near our team.

People are forgetting the football transfer market is going to crash soon, especially in the championship.  So many clubs there are fucked.
