Away Toon
The futures successful or not of most big clubs are becoming something that some very rich owner whether it be an oligarch or a state or a hedge fund decides, and that's not a very good position for any club to be in including us. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/65042578 Remember when Malaga were battling for the Champions League. Sima
Kim Min-Jae’s release clause is only £40m? We should be all over that.
joeyt
If we didn't have Isak already, Kolo Muani looks like the real deal at Frankfurt and France. Think he's PSG bound though Jordan Zemura at Bournemouth who we've been linked with has been dropped from their squad as he's refusing to sign a new deal and is out of contract in the summer
La Parka
Harvey Barnes would be great for the left wing/forward. He's direct and can finish.

I don't want to be like that (obviously they could win the league this season). Arsenal are having a fantastic season but I think we should give it a year or two before crowning them as 'back;. Liverpool & Chelsea having poor seasons has opened the door a bit, let's see if they sustain it next season. They'll still be vulnerable to the like of Man City for a while yet, you're kidding yourself if you think otherwise. Saka seems a canny kid - very humble - so who knows what he would do, but it's a short career and if Arsenal revert to Champions League challengers he might have other thoughts in a few years. But aye, he will never play for us. That I do agree with. Irrespective of others falling off. Arsenal are likely to get 88+ points this season. If they can sustain that they'll challenge for some time. Youngest team in the league. Don't need to sell.

Oh I'm taking nowt away from them - they're great, and like you say the youngest squad in the league. But they've definitely been aided by other sides who are traditionally challenging having poorer seasons, and being able to rotate in Europe due to being in a 'lesser' competition. I do think they will lose at Anfield on Sunday though - not sure on my logic mind
SUPERTOON
Would expect us to go big for Brennan Johnson if Forest drop, would be an exciting signing.

Already has 8 goals and 2 assists in the league this season as well, would fit perfectly into our system and style. More I think about it the more I’m convinced he will be our number one target in that position.

Yep that’s where he has played the majority of the season (has played through the middle on occasion). He has everything, pace, excellent delivery and 8 goals in that forest side is very impressive. Only 21 as well so lots of room for improvement.
TheInfiniteOdyssey
Johnson would make sense if they go down. You’d imagine it’s either him or Joao Pedro. I suspect we could also negotiate a lower fee by including players like Lascelles and Lewis.
black_n_white
Would love Johnson, bring Welsh I’m a little biased. He has high energy levels and is very quick, he’s also a sound lad. All traits Eddie Howe likes in a player.
Sima
I'd rather have Johnson than Joao Pedro.
KaKa
Johnson would be a right wing option. Joao Pedro would be another versatile well rounded striker option, with a similar game to Isak. Think we could do with him as well, as Wilson is older and injury prone.

Not convinced they go down myself, it's just one of the obvious choices down there because three of the teams are Everton/Leicester/West Ham. Still can't see him hanging around if they stay up or not, he's a level up from their current level, and Howe would likely get him to our level. Not a bad shout, especially since the time for cashing to the max might have passed for Pedro since he's not torn up any trees since the first part of the season, and it looks like Watford aren't getting promoted either. They will have to sell from a position of weakness now, so I guess it just depends how much we rate him.
Pilko
Brennan Johnson would be an excellent addition IMO. Would love to see it.
Ikon
Ugarte would be so perfect for us. We have been linked quite a bit. Hope it happens. We would become even harder to break down Add him and another creative more attacking midfielder and it’s looking bloody good in there both quality and depth wise. https://breakingthelines.com/player-analysis/manuel-ugarte-the-art-of-central-solidity/
