I am fairly certain the instructions now are any minor niggle you come off

Agree but still think he’ll be out for Monday. You’d hope of all the games to miss it might be the best, stick Cheese Slice RB.

Think this guy should go down as a club legend even if he doesnt do another season. He has been a catalyst for everything and it turned out that not selling him last January was a masterstroke. His leadership and antics in the SF and Final were incredible and for me he will forever be "the one" from this group who was the most important. Tonali, big Joe, Bruno, Isak are all incredible but without Trippier starting the influx of talent, helping keep us up and driving the squad this wouldnt have happened. Hope he ends up in the backroom team and a coach with the club as he will be a huge loss around the place. Would also be such a shame to see him playing his career out for somebody like Everton

I'm just glad he got to win a trophy to show for his time here.  Vindication for joining us when we were 19th.

If he's not fully fit, I'd play Krafth tonight and save Tripps for Sunday. We'll need his expert shithousery then but I get you, tonight is big for FPL managers who are banking on Tripps to get some big points.

I'd be fine with Krafth starring this.

No way can Trippier start every game for the rest of the season.

Get can if there is sufficient gaps between games. Also, if we get a healthy lead, we can bring Krafth on for 20 minutes.

I still think it's a big ask, I don't doubt Howe would like him to play every game but I'm not sure it's wise when Krafth is more than good enough to play against Leicester.

Including today the next 4 games come very quickly from eachother, we'll really need Tripps for Man U and Palace.

"lack of effort" is up there with "legs have gone"

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Eh? [emoji38]

It was well know he didn't want to be here and was trying to force a move to another country, do you think he would have been putting in the same hours and effort into training and dieting as he was the year before?

It was widely reported he fancied leaving, but I was never under the impression he was trying to force a move.

It's likely Trippier went to shit due to a lack of effort more than his age imo. If he's back putting in the hours like he would have been before 'the incident' he could play every week.

You can still see he's physically declined big style. It's inevitable at 34/35 in that position. It was just exacerbated by the fact his head was also all over the place IMO.

Glad he's having a bit of an Indian summer right now but still think he's on borrowed time and we should probably move him on in the summer to ensure he goes out on a high.

You detected a lack of effort from him did you ? I always find that stuff hilarious, especially when it's viewed from tv, where the cameras follow the ball

Read my post again man [emoji38]

I detected nowt, I thought it was more likely his head going was to contribute to the 'his legs have gone' comments than age, given the timing.

Just re read it, tbf the opening sentence is a bit ambiguous, but fair enough. But just because he had scrambled eggs up top in that period doesn't particularly translate to a lack of effort in training

since he came back we’ve not had his previous attacking presence, but it feels like he wins every tackle and duel? Was really good at getting the ball out from the back today too.
