Kieran Trippier 'hopefully back soon' (Howe)

Yorkie

Recommended Posts

It's ratifying paperwork that takes the time. Once everything is done they need to email/fax the selling club and PL, as well as transfer funds.

Trippier will have done his part, he will have done interviews, taken pictures, just needs that rubber stamp. If the office at the PL or wherever signs the deal off happens to be busy, I'm sure it can cost a couple of hours.

Medicals have always taken this long as far as I can remember.

It’s not just medicals, it’s a whole load of other shit too. These days there are more than just a player and his agent involved in doing a deal. A great deal of stuff is related to PR, photo ops, social media, presentation, interviews and so on.

Spanish transfers have to go through the league as well dont they?

Im sure its actually The spanish FA who get paid the money or something and then it gets sent to the club

There's all kinds of shit man. Agents want their cut, players want signing on fees. All of this requires paperwork, signatures, checking and double checking.
