That Dharmesh bloke saying on SSN he thinks that the survival bonus is too little.

In comparison to their ridiculous demands earlier we haven't met close to the middle have we. Think they don't accept for at least another 2-4m.

Some right fannys on here like, trying to get players in January was always going to be a headache.

I think they've done a cracking job thus far.

Always makes me laugh when folk come on an internet forum and whinge at other folk for daring to have an opinion that isnt the same as theirs.

Was thinking the same. Think the two clubs are just doing this song and dance until they meet in the middle.

Hope so. He also said the most likely scenario is him staying at Man Utd.

What...he thinks Man U should be asking for more?

Nah, just said they haven't responded yet and it'll be too small a bonus for what they want given what they've been asking for earlier in the window.

Where's that narrative sprung from? Why's Trippier out here trying to convince him of a move   Hadn't seen that at all.

This is what the media has reported so take it with a grain of salt (you can google for more info):

1. Lingard didn't want to come to us on loan last year because of location (went to West Ham)

2. Didn't want to come to us at the start of the window

3. Kieran Trippier who became good friends with him whilst they were in the England squad (apparently they are from the same/ similar area) convinced to come on loan

4. Ragnirick agreed but Joel Glazer (son of Manure owner) wants to fleece us with survival fee

5. On/ off saga with fee as you've seen

6. Lingard pleads to leave and now it's up to Manure board to agree on price

That's the gist of what's going on according to the media - again there are probably some discrepancies (because of media inaccuracies) but overall picture is about right - Lingard wants loan but Manure pricing others out

They've all said literally everything with the caveat of never say never. Think it'll be agreed in about 2 or 3 hours if it does happen.

Wouldn’t have thought that offer will be accepted but if I fully expect the next/final offer to be. It just feels too ‘low’ (compared to what was previously reported) for them not to be negotiating with the intent to find a solution
