Guest Posted June 13, 2024 Share Posted June 13, 2024 I know he's a pro and wants to win things, but would he be happy just being a cog in a machine without the adulation? He'd obviously be popular if he does well but he's practically hero-worshipped here. He's one of the best in the world where he is, still playing at the highest level, and his family seem settled and happy. I know City for instance could give him another £100k a week or however much but I'm leaning more into thinking he'll stay, unless we feel we have to sell due to FFP to sign 2-3 other top players. I've had jobs where I've been paid more and been miserable, I'd 100% sacrifice money over happiness all day long. Bruno is clearly on top of the world here but who knows how he sees it, only him I guess. I don't think he'd be anyway as close to as happy as he is here, but to some that's not everything.
