The most interesting thing though, is there are quite a few on there who just dont rate him "He is bang average. And at £100M I would expect a superstar. He isn’t" "We just don’t need him.. Every indication is that he wants to stay whilst we are competitive, his dad has been banging that drum since late last year. I know they are probably capable of still winning whilst pissing about with Foden or someone as a false 9, but that doesn’t seem like a sustainable alternative if Haaland was missing long term? He was getting the used to the premiere league in a brand new country, barely being able to speak the language and probably knowing what’s in the post for him in terms of the charges. All of those except getting used to the prem have gone now and he has had a long time to train with these guys. I reckon he’ll be fine personally. Also showed how slow he is Won a few massive free kicks right at the end after he gave away a rather daft one in a dangerous area. Can't wait to see him next to Joe and Tonali.
