They paid 100+ million for Jack Grealish, who's absolutely useless for them.

60m for Nunes, who also looks a Donkey.

45m for Kalvin Phillips another Donkey.

52m Benjamin Mendy.

I value Bruno Double any of them above, obviously they got skinned with Grealish, he was never  100m player in the first place.

Tbf Grealish was a fairly integral part of the team that won the treble. Admittedly not been the same since.

Nunes is a bit of an odd one mind. Even though he looked like a decent player at Wolves he never seemed like a player that would be suited to a high-possession based team.

With all due respect SteV, he was 'part' as you said.

What he delivered wasn't much, I personally think he's shite, purple patched for Villa and secured a dream move financially.

You can’t win a treble carrying ‘shite’ players like. He made 37 starts that season so he was pretty integral to it all. But he has definitely dipped off considerably since then, even if I still wouldn’t class him as ‘shite’.

Anyway, enough Jack Grealish in the Bruno thread.

If he goes it could be our Bale moment, plenty of money on but we would need to spend it better than Spurs did!.

I wonder if they could give us their buy back option on Delap?

Eriksen pretty much the only success from that bunch of signings they made with the Bale money? Remember Soldado being a disaster.

stop undervaluing our players, especially where the buyer is in desperate need

£95m/ £70m + a young player

Dont think it’s my valuation we need to worry about to be honest mate. But for me personally he’s not a £95 million pound player as much as I love him, anything north of £70 would be good value for me.

Deeming Grealish shite is obviously on the more extreme end of hyperbole but he has dropped off massively since their treble

His whole persona and attitude never seemed a great fit for a top side to me

I think £85m with achievable add ons to take it to £100m+ is fair value IMO and a deal we should be looking to accept giving we need money to buy.

Not sure what players they can offer in return to entice us. Even someone like Savinho who has the potential, I’d rather us target someone else and get the full Bruno fee.

Would be a blow to lose him, but I feel out of Bruno and Isak, Isak is the one I’d want to keep at all costs. Bruno is a don, but he’s slow and Brazilians tend to drop off as they approach 30 so god knows what speed he has then :D

Still funny to me that every few pages people discuss his transfer fee and hawking him to City while we’re not even at the halfway point of the season, have cups to play for and anything truly being possible this season

It is the nature of today's 'game' .. you can just live for the moment which I can appreciate, but you can also look to how we might build and climb to be regularly competing at the top again, which is what drives these discussions.

If PSR didn't exist, not a single person on this forum would want him to leave for any reason.

I can think of one poster who would.

Even with PSR it’s not clear for me. Maybe the best strategy is to keep your best players and try to fill in the rest of the squad with youngsters and cheap players. As a fan, it’s really not clear to me which one is better.

Then just use your TV and commercial income to try and sign another star player as soon as you’re able.

Might be more fun, I dunno
