Great ambassador for the club and because of the way he's had to come up in the game. He's a really grounded, level-headed and 'normal' person compared to a lot of footballers. Obviously helps that he's from the NE, as well, of course. Comes with the territory I mentioned on here I was stood next to his Dad away at Chelsea last season and it was easy to see why Dan was seemingly such a nice guy. I think Trips has to be included in that group as well mind - took a massive gamble, and has been phenomenal on the pitch and offered no doubt untold experience and knowledge to the group off the pitch as well since he joined. I just like to look back because often people's initial impressions are so wide of the mark that it's a nice reminder of how things that some claim will be meh can actually turn out to be wow.
