Without the many reports of availability of these free tickets to schools, work places and other organisations, you just have to see their past official accounts to know this is the case. They always try to mention Ashley giving away 10,000 tickets and conveniently forget that the average before he did was over 46,000, which was higher than any average they have had (apart from 2 by a couple of hundred) in over 50 years. Three of the others were semi's. Two courtesy of Manchester United and Leeds travellings support and arguably two others because of Middlesbrough's. Its understandable they'd be bitter about it.
