Coventry were worse than useless, the mackems didn't have to work particularly hard to keep them at bay, they had to work even less for their goals.

 

That 2nd goal is up there with the beach ball in terms of spawny goals

Yeah they will be bending over quite often getting rammed next season if they do get promoted. Obviously I've mentioned I hope for them to stay down for years and years to come. Certainly don't want them getting promoted and then relegated as they will then get the parachute payments (Short took all their last one to cover their sale to the broke twins as they didn't have the funds), which will probably result in them being an another yo yo club. Failure to go up will see them lose a few players (nowhere near the prices they think they will get) and I think they would struggle next year as a result. I can see Sheff United beating either of the two teams tonight and Coventry have to come out on Tuesday also. The standard though is just so bad in that division.

My dads actually a Sunderland supporter but he says he knows them get hammered and go straight down but it’s a necessity for the money to be able to move to the next level.
