Nailed on? You forgetting they didn't lose to Burnley in 2 games
Choppy Chop Chop
its not so unique The football teams who famously sing "Wise Men Say" (a reference to the line "Can't Help Falling in Love") include Sunderland, Hull City, and Huddersfield Town. The song was adopted by these teams as a chant, with Sunderland and Hull City particularly known for their long-standing tradition of singing it. The song was a popular anthem among football grounds from as early as the 1960s, including with supporters of Sunderland, Swindon Town, Hull City, Huddersfield Town, Preston North End, Swansea City, Airdrie United and Raith Rovers. Don't forget their iconic pre-match usage of the 1996 top 40 hit "Ready to Go" by Republica which they named their forum after. I've heard they talk about that in America all the time too. Wolfcastle
Trying to force an anthem like everything else. Like an end, nickname or regional iconography its an organic thing. They just dont have any of. Ourselves, Liverpool, Man United, Arsenal, BIrmingham, Norwich, Coventry, Portsmouth, Leeds, Southampton, Man City, West Ham off the top of my head have famous long standing songs commonly associated to the clubs by media and other fans that have been perennially sung at most games for generations. Even we didn't know that's their tune.
Fatwax
Were they filming a new series this season? Feel like whenever they try to do something like that it backfires. I remember when they had a 360 degree photo of the ground at a set moment in the game and it just so happened to be when the opposition scored. Can remember Swansea fans singing it at SJP back in the 90’s from the Milburn Paddock. Sang it much more in tune than the these daft cunts as well. Edit just read that thread on groomers and it’s page 7 before anyone acknowledges one of the most famous, original and local songs linked with a British football club, funny that.
