Sid
Not content with their latest " classy" thread, which is so obviously about us and Isak in particular, it turns out they are now everyone's favourite second club! Naturally, everyone loathes us.
Kilcline
I feel like this started as an attempt at a "lucky them they've got an easy game an hour's flight away" then turned into something else entirely to cover all bases. Have we had a "typical we go to Anfield and the Etihad before playing the mags, Saudis do the fixture list" yet?

It's definitely their cup final mind. Couldn't be more small time if they were a Subbuteo team. 75% of their team will be thinking about ACON as they will be flying out to it after the game. Stal
I much preferred them in the 90s when they had players whose names sounded like a bunch of pub regulars they played in the darts team of a Tuesday and did the quiz on a Wednesday; Brian Atkinson, Martin Gray, Anth Smith, Ian Sampson, Phil Gray, John Kay, Tony Norman, Gordon Armstrong to name but a few. I knew (and know) a couple of their fans too and they were canny enough. Just seems bacteria breeding grounds like rtg bring out the very worst in their fanbase to mingle with other likeminded mutants.

bhoywhonder
Theyve been starved of attention for so long, now that theyre in the big leagues, theyre acting like sugar-fuelled toddlers high on confidence and its gone to their heads at lightning speed, despite having only played fellow strugglers so far and crashing out of a cup in August. Thats where the flood of "everyone likes us/no-one likes the mags" has stemmed from. A feeling of being 'where we belong' and a desire to be liked for getting there, for others to see them as 'proper fans' and conversely to see us as money-obsessed plastics. Of course the truth is Newcastle (away) is high up on most fans favourite away days, while a trip to sunderland is to be endured, in and out, no different to dozens of fixtures. Theyve lost to Burnley and Huddersfield and scraped a win against a decimated Brentford. Not the signs of a team about to shock the big boys, but here we are. Theyre up a height and heading for a nasty fall.

et tu brute
I see over on the Groom, they have swung from PIF not being interested in us now, to ravishing about it being a sign of taking over at Spurs now that Levy has gone. Yes, Newcastle is a tiny, weeny little club. Happy now? Good.

Turn that shithole of a stadium into the Bernabeu.

Picked up what they needed to first few games to give them hope, but the two home games they haven’t been standout in. I’ll be surprised if they even pick up a point in their next 4.
