I'd consider introducing my son to the game via a womens game for various reasons - although the GIS is not hugely alluring so would probably wait until an SJP game. As I've said my interest/knowledge of the women's team is minimal to say the least, and yours will be far greater so my view is probably over simplistic but the impression I get just from reading on here is that there isn't the same interest or enthusiasm in the womens team as there was when Staveley was here.
