Sunderlands chance at the end was the only decent one I can remember. Their keeper made a number of good saves, particuarly from Amad who was torturing their left back. Would agree the game was played at a slower pace, but the second half fizzled out because they weren't threatening us whatsoever and we didn't need to press for a third. Five of the last six PL derbies vs the Mackems at SJP were on a Sunday. I don’t think Northumbria police are arsed about these games being played on Sundays.
