Had to chuckle at Total Sport last night. I know little about him as a player, either before or since his time at Sunderland, but with Lewis Hall being called up the senior England squad, they (The presenter and Sunderland pundits) were asking whether Dennis Cirkin could alos be in with a chance, given Englands lack of proper/fit Left Backs at present. :icon_scratch:

Their fans have truly got their heads up their arses.

Think those values are a bit optimistic like. Their best player last season by a mile was Clarke and he went for £15m and after him it was Pritchard, who looked like the only player not miles out of hie depth against us, and they got 750k for him.

Poundland Jobe (great name to the person who came up with it) would be nowhere near Sunderland, if he was even half the player his brother was. He would have been snapped up at Birmingham for a start and not ended up at the mackems.

As for Cirkin, he cost literally pennies from Tottenham and they had a buy back clause within the contract; which has now finished, with Tottenham not being interested in buying him back.

We saw the same shite with Clarke, who went for £15 million (not the £30 - 40 million they were spouting) and has mostly been on the bench for a struggling Ipswich. Faux rage fantasy land cunts the lot of them.

Let's just go on with this make believe world where the players on that list were worth somewhere close to that list.

How does this provide any benefit to the average Sun'lun fan?

The cash would drop straight into the pockets of the chancer owners they have and do nothing to help the team or indeed the fans.

Unless they are hoping to win the transfer value  leeyugg trophy for 2024/5 and be the top transfer dogs.  Most important!

I think £40m would be the biggest sale from the Championship by a considerable margin, apart from teams who were selling the summer they got relegated (eg when we signed Barnes).

Watkins (£30m) would be the most expensive transfer from a Championship club.

Archie Gray and Georginio Rutter say hi

Jarrod Bowen was only(!) 22 million 4 years ago and he was class.  You'd argue that the market was a lot more active back then and fees were generally higher then than they are now.

21/30 of the biggest transfers out from the Champ are in the last 2 years mind.

have I missed something or has Jobe Bellingham started to take after his brother?

Could probably buy the whole football club for £125m let alone 6 of their players....and have plenty change.

No probably about it. Entire club probably worth £60/£70m tops.

Make us their bitches!? They've only just, perhaps temporarily, claimed a gasp of air and some breathing space from Middlesbrough's complete dominance over them  for most of the last decade and results wise for most of the last half-century. Next stop after that herculean effort is naturally world domination.

I find the general threads over there even more embarrassing than their football ones, would fully recommend for a laugh when anyone’s bored, never realised I was 12 miles up the road from the French Riviera and one of Englands great City’s.

I see they're having another meltdown over Sam Fender. How he wasn't interested in football until the takeover and that he's not a real Geordie because he comes from North Shields [emoji38]. Honestly, what a bunch of sad desperate cunts they are

I keep saying it time and time again, but it’s amazing how people in North Shields aren’t entitled to support Newcastle, but they keep trying to claim South Shields, Ashington, and think everyone in Spennymoor should be a Sunderland season ticket holder.

For the record, a lot of my friends happen to be friends with Sam Fender, and he is a regular in one of my local pubs. He absolutely was a Newcastle United fan before the takeover.

We all know he grew up in poverty, but when he did have money he went to games with mutual friends of mine.

The faux outrage from those RTG dunces is hilarious. There’s even vids of Sam meeting Shearer ages before the takeover but apparently that means nowt

This one properly tickled me. Poor Johnny Blue Hat, the quietest lad in rock n roll but RTG have him in their sights

I might have said this before but it doesn't matter what the topic of conversation is on RTG, by about comment no 4 it's the fkn Mags fault. A thread about Dalton Park and the difficulty leaving with all the traffic on the A19. "aye, but it's better than spending ya money in Newcastle" What??? A Sunderland drinking thread recently "I'd never drink in Newcastle, love Ouseburn like"

Would that be Ouseburn in Byker...in Newcastle.

Thick as fuck.
