There is literally no point in Shelvey.

Yet people are happy to see him in and around the team. Naive as fuck.

Shelvey has been solid, done absolutely nothing wrong for goodness sake.

Jonjo has already made few great passes, I don't mind having him in the squad for a season.

Exactly. Looking a very solid back up option to Bruno.

No idea why some people are bitching about him. What on Earth they are watching?

I’m working so I’m not watching atm. I didn’t base this opinion on one friendly mate

Then you can’t have watched much last season either, when he was consistently one of our better players. Just groupthink on here to complain about shelvey, it’s boring

I wouldn't be upset if Shelvey left like

We need to get players in, and people are trying to shift some of the capable ones out. My God man

Murphy and Fraser have been absolutely tragic today.

Feels like we've been sent out to work on possession as a team more than anything. Lots of safe passing and resetting the play. Very little risk taking, a couple of moments aside.

Good workout against a well drilled team playing deep - it's preseason, after all.

I did. Him chasing ghosts when playing better players. Not dynamic enough. Also when put under pressure from better sides he struggles to do anything of sort of come out of difficult situations. I have watched him very closely during many games. When he goes too deep then he does some things well but then we lose an option when he goes so deep because he’s playing as a QB
