Its not about the result but the performance. Watford had a better go. Its a difference you know?

This. Even if it is "man city" our players have just not given it a real go. Its pathetic.

Tbf I don't think there's any way a front three as inept as Almiron-Wood-ASM is going to be able to dent them. Their understanding of offside/timing is absolutely shocking considering how reliant we are on being a counter attacking team in a game like this.

This has to be the worst Sky commentary I've heard in some time btw. Giving absolutely no analysis of the game at all.

Why was there no one with a Newcastle connection in the sky box?  Woeful.

They often do this though. Too busy masturbating over the 'Big Teams' and not just talking about the game etc.

Sky have completely phoned it in today. Probably because they knew it'd be a standard win for City without them getting out of first gear but still, pretty bad coverage.

No think both were on at the same time for Everton home game.

That would be the only option because Trippier came off after 47 vs Villa the next match, but I'm pretty sure Tripps was off before Bruno came on vs Everton - may have even been for each other?

Rarely is. We've just been cannon fodder, for a long time.

Hopefully things will now begin to change on that front.

You wait until they bring life long Newcastle supporter Steve Bruce along to commentate on our Champions League final in 2025/26.

You're right they came off and on at the same time.
