Yeah think on reflection I'd put Colback in my midfield over Butt - even though I thought Butt was terrible bar I think he had a patch under Keegan when he was okay?

Couldn't stand Colback but he wasn't worse than Butt or Smith. CM of doom, then two. I'd put Gosling beneath Colback too.

 

Obertan's always a poor shout in these things imo. Wasn't good but he had a flicker of talent and flair.

 

I count my lucky stars every day that we're not dealing with rubbish like that any more.

We've had probably had 100 players worse than Williamson. He was a key player in the team that finished 5th.

Williamson had some poor games for us but he belongs nowhere near a worst ever list.

 

Alan Smith has to win it, for the simple reason that I don't recall him ever having a good game - he was either anonymous or obviously shite - and never even scored once competitively.

 

Suggestions like Butt, Colback, Obertan etc are worthy of mention but did at least have an occasional effective game or chip in with a few goals.

Alan Smith and Amdy Faye were proper nothing players, added no value at all, was like playing with a man down. Lots in that category, Colback, even Anita was pretty useless.
