Is Paul Ferris still at the club?

He left with Shearer and was away in between. You thinking of Paul Catterson, the club doctor?

I got 2 mins in and he still hadn't said who it was, I thought it would've been him [emoji38] He did a 'Bruce is officially sacked' livestream 9 days before we did it! And there'll be many other examples

Also I didn't realise the club were doing month by month reviews of the season, just posted October which obviously was a big month

"On Thursday, 7th October 2021, an exciting new era began for Newcastle United as an investment group led by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), and also comprising PCP Capital Partners and RB Sports & Media, acquired the football club.

While the Magpies were still awaiting a maiden win in their 2021/22 campaign, hope was restored amongst Newcastle supporters following a new ownership group, with Amanda Staveley and Mehrdad Ghodoussi meeting staff at St. James' Park hours after the takeover to outline their plans for the club.

After more than two years in charge, Steve Bruce would leave his position as head coach by mutual consent, with Graeme Jones leading the team on an interim basis whilst talisman striker Callum Wilson returned to the side following injury."

Thought this was interesting:

The coming 2022/23 campaign is the 65th season since the 1958/59 season saw the introduction of a nationwide fourth tier, replacing divisions 1/2/3N/3S with 1/2/3/4.

With Solihull Moors having been denied entry the total of competing clubs in those 65 seasons stays at 120.

These are the clubs that featured at level 1 and level 1 & 2 since 1958/59.

Arsenal (65 years Div 1)

Everton (65 years Div 1)

Man Utd (64 years Div 1; 1 year Div 2)

Spurs (64 years Div 1; 1 year Div 2)

Liverpool (61 years Div 1; 4 years Div 2)

Chelsea (56 years Div 1; 9 years Div 2)

West Ham  (56 years Div 1; 9 years Div 2)

Newcastle (49 years Div 1; 16 years Div 2)
