I was going to try and get back to sleep but I made the mistake of visiting Red Cafe and I’m literally crying from laughing so much.

Ah think I'll pull up a chair and have a look !

(At Red Cafe, not you sleeping)

Hilarious to think that after putting in all the stops to prevent us from competing, they have went full throttle, and choked themselves. After the Man City CAT case, and the new rules on ownership loans, Ratcliffe can’t put money into them, and they have ended up charging their fans double the price for tickets, and sacking the guy they spend the best part of a year chasing, and spent £10m getting him because they can no longer afford his wages and signings.

Think Ashworth needs to buy his own club to run at this point.

Wonder how much of that is Man Utd playing the PR game, mentioning Southgate to make the sacking of Ashworth sound better

It's funny Ashworth has gone and that Man U have given us millions in the process, but from Ashworth's perspective surely this is an absolute dream come true? Basically works just  a few months a year then gets paid countless millions to not work for ages.  Doubtless they've had to pay his contract up or at least some very good severance clause, so he'll be absolutely rolling in it.

I'm laughing at Man U, but I'm certainly not laughing at Ashworth. Rather jealous really. Bit like when Bruce was making more money from sacking compensations than he was making from being employed as a manager, in fact that's probably still the case.

Someone above him making decisions shocker.

Needs to realise he's not top dog and theres always someone above him like the CEO

Don't make me defend the cunt. If his agreement with them was he gets to make decisions on the football side which I suspect it was then obviously he's well within his rights to bounce.

From the BBC here

Turns out, in the end, we pulled their pants down

Romano said this morning that it was £3m we got for him. We’ll never know the real figure

I'm not even convinced Ratcliffe wants to put money into them. Not his own anyway.

Reading between the lines, there's been a major fall out, which shocks me given how much of a nice guy Ratcliffe is and what a loyal person Ashworth is.

Man United are now ran by a dictatorship, who will effectively make all of the decisions for the club. This won't go well.
