He’s been watched by Man City/Arsenal for months. The timing of City’s move for Kovacic and Arsenal ruling out sale of Smith Rowe could be significant. Perhaps they have both cooled interest, leaving #NUFC with a free run at Veiga."

The only way to sign the player from Celta Vigo, at the moment. ?✨ #transfers No club has triggered clause or agreed terms with Veiga yet. It’s still open. Feeling remains on Premier League as most likely destination.

That’s the way it should be really, i.e. if a player wants to be represented by an agent he (or she) should foot the bill for their services

That feels way too much and more than a little parasitic.

It’s certainly true in the case of certain agents who are currently arguing over the rights to a prem player’s contract. He’s pretty high level and they have a number of players on their books so likely very widespread.

Our knock on the door is different these days because our product is so much better. We don’t pay premium wages like City/Lpool/ManU which will ultimately stop us attracting the very best I’m sure we have - the pif don’t get to be worth as much as they are without learning how to deal with money grabbing businessmen. Guest
£4-5m signing on fee and £90-100k a week and I'd have had him here as a bit of creativity alongside Bruno or when he's out. £9m and probably £150k a week though is a bit much. Still think he'll do well next club.
