It should be Sané imo - obviously it'll be Kane, but he shouldn't be included, it should be 23 and under.

Or Rookie of the season.

How would you define that though? can't be just any first year player because someone could buy a 28 year old from La Liga or something

Or Salah (might be a grey area as he had limited play time at Chelsea)

Has to be their first season anywhere? Has to be over 15 games or something? I dunno, I'm just thinking out loud.

The 2018 nominees for the PFA Young Player of the Year:

Harry Kane

Ederson

Marcus Rashford

Leroy Sane

Ryan Sessegnon

Raheem Sterling

Dunno why this isn’t just limited to first-year players.

Edit: what KI said.

Any age but first season in top flight football anywhere (min. X number of appearances)

Or they could just scrap it all together.

Remove Kane and it should be Sterling's award. Interesting that Sessegnon is listed.

First ever young player outside of the top division to be nominated.

As FFP is cummulative, they spent pennys for two season in order to spend big for the past two (I think it's losses accounted over 2 or 3 seasons). As the video says, even if they have over spent and broke FFP, they won't be part of the EPL to be fined, as they are now promoted.

Just have to wait and see if they did infact break FFP, and then wait for relegation like QPR to see the outcome.

how did they get round the financial regulations?

You get 3 years to balance it out, and then you start getting fined, then points deducted if it it still happens. They gambled that their spending would see them promoted within 3 years, and it has.
