LucaAltieri
Thoughts on the best pair of strikers in the Premier League, ever. Henry and Bergkamp? Shearer and Kluivert? Quinn and Phillips? Edit: leaving interpretation of the question open. Can be the players that worked together the best, or just the highest quality players ever to stand next to each other. LucaAltieri
Ronaldo and Tevez probably worth a shout, too.
Ronaldo
It's a shame Kluivert and Shearer, especially, were both past their best when they played together. Would've been lethal even just 3 years earlier. Kluivert was such an unselfish player for someone of his stature and ability in front of goal. Yorkie
Ronaldo and Tevez probably worth a shout, too. 07/08? Giggs and Ronaldo flanked Tevez and Rooney, didn't they? Class team like. Brilliant everywhere.
Guest firetotheworks
If you're talking purely in terms of the quality that both of them had then Henry and Bergkamp. In terms of partnerships then Beardsley and Cole, Yorke and Cole, Shearer and Sutton.
Yorkie
Sturridge and Suarez were pretty unreal that one year.

Brilliant everywhere. Fair point. I just have a hard time thinking of Ronaldo as a wide player while he's banging in 40+ goals.
Guest firetotheworks
Sturridge and Suarez were pretty unreal that one year. They were, but iirc they would amazing separately, and Suarez was obviously on a much higher level.

Brilliant everywhere. Looked up the appearances that season. Going off on a tangent, Wes Brown played 48 games that season ahead of Pique (9)

Edit: leaving interpretation of the question open. Can be the players that worked together the best, or just the highest quality players ever to stand next to each other. Think this argument has done the rounds a couple of times but while Kluivert/Shearer is the sexier sounding pair, Kluivert/Bellamy worked so much better at the time. As much as I hate to say it, Yorke/Cole was formidable at the time.
nufcjb
What about Shearer-Ferdinand while it lasted? Or the triple threat Shearer-Ferdinand-Asprilla? The sound of that front 3 for us. Would fuck our defenders today 10 times over.
