Gut feeling is we’ll get him in the region of £55m.

Yeah I could see that, probably with some add ons if we meet some team targets going forward.

I'm a big fan but can't see why Brighton (of all clubs) would sell below 60-65mil. Not sure how we can afford such amounts for him and Elanga, on top of bringing in a CB and a GK.

Brighton are very greedy when they sell, and the price is a lot for someone who mostly scores penalties and links up play. He might be Pedro but he’s no Peter the great.
This is coming from someone who really likes him. I can’t stand Psr, and the cartel set up. We identified and wanted him 3 years ago and the stupid financial rules meant we couldn’t afford him at 25m, but now we can afford him at 60m. Im glad I don’t run my personal finances in the same way football clubs are forced to operate, I’d be ruined.

When do Chelsea come in for him then?

After they've bought Ekitike and another goalkeeper.

Personal hunch is that Pedro happens, Elanga doesn't. Seems both Brighton and Pedro are wanting to make a deal happen this Summer. Initial figure may be high, but should mean negotiations are a little easier.

Don't see Forest wanting to sell Elanga at all.

Chelsea are so fucking annoying these days. Literally ANY player and they're interested!

It's difficult to believe any move happens while a cartel club is also in the reckoning. They can always outbid us as happened with Mbuemo. But we can only keep working on these deals and hope the cards fall our way.

You’d be hoping Elanga (and Pedro) would force the issue. We are a champions league side and I’m not sure Forest will be anywhere near that again next season.

Definitely can’t see us signing both.

Maybe Elanga pushes it through.

Also Forest might have some PSR issues? Spent a hell of a lot the first season they were up.

Hopefully one of these days someone will have the brains/integrity to tell Chelsea to fuck off. They can’t ALL be soulless, dead eyed mercenaries. Right?

We simply must sign a RW, seriously. I don't want to see Gordon and Barnes starting together ever.

Same here as long as it’s not Elanga.

Wrong. The Premier league world supremacy revolves around money, the only way you can compete is by having more of it, and being allowed to spend it.

I think we will, I just don’t think we get Pedro and Elanga.
