He's similar to Cunha in terms of being flexible, but more leaning towards being striker than a creator. Also a few years younger. Annoyed we didn't get him two years ago but I think he'd be a great signing.

Honestly feel like moves like this, while undoubtedly very good players, will have us bemoaning lack of depth/options by the middle of November. 

 

If we don't get more than 2-3 players for the first team squad because we've spent £60m+ on one player, I never want to hear the club complain about PSR ever again.

His link up play is excellent as well & he has the size to lead the line as well. Him interchanging positions with Isak during games would be nice to see as well as they’re both absolutely capable of doing either job.

When we're not buying anyone there's people complaining, when we're (seemingly) trying to buy players,  there's people complaining.

70 million euros is the price (apparently).

 

That's £59 million. Maybe negotiate it down slightly.

He's an absolute class player. Had a bit of everything.

 

If we get him, he wants to thank his lucky stars that he's found Eddie Howe because he will become a monster.

Maybe we've just told Isak he can go next summer. Agree new deal with some clear buyout clauses depending on potential buyers.

 

Go big this summer, then keep that card up our sleeve to ease things next year with the next PSR deadline.

 

Not how I'd want to do it but could see the regrettable logic.

And I think if he really had his head turned as much as has been claimed last summer, there may have even been some agreement made back then.

Understand the concerns, but what has me confident that it won’t be the case is that Eddie experienced what happened last time.

 

As I’ve said before, since he’s been here he’s been exceptional at learning from and rectifying setbacks. He now knows what we need for a CL campaign and I’m sure he’ll spend the budget accordingly.

Pedro for 50/55 million would be a great buy. Plays anywhere along the front line and can also play n`10 if we want to go 442

I like Pedro but I don’t really get the transfer. It’s a ton of money for a backup for Isak. Don’t anyone realistically put forward playing two up front either because isn’t a thing.
