Newcastle fans: Sign some players damn you.

*Newcastle start to make some moves*

Newcastle fans: Woah there, you aren't planning on selling someone are you?

Can you cunts not enjoy anything at all.  Perhaps we are, you know, trying to improve the squad for next season.

Spot on mate. I don’t see why we would have to sell anyone to fund a couple of buys which are around 120m total.

Player wants to to come then. Problem will be Brighton.

Aye, problem will be agreeing a reasonable fee, no issue with them wanting to sell. That’s what they do.

Wasn't he more or less signed, before he joined Brighton, but we pulled out when Watford started dicking around with the fee?

Shame, would have cost around half the price.

Yeah, although not sure if that was the reason. Most reports I've read are that Wilson's injury made us have a rethink of our priorities, combined with us being urged to 'go big' by PIF before signing Isak.

Thought the reports at the time were that we wanted both. Can't really remember though.

We went for Isak instead if I remember correctly.

Think JP goes some way to address that. Would stilll get in 1 body though.  But if we plan to play 2 in midfield frequently it’s less of an issue.

You would expect JP to start 80% of games meaning 1 of the midfield 3 or Isak gets a rest.

I dont believe a second that Howe changes his system.

I'm not keen on him but I suppose he did thump Van Hecke in training, so I'm warming to the idea.

He’s been getting a lot of negative press for this but to me it sounds like a reasonable thing to do.

It’s the only way spending £50m+ on JP makes sense.

JP best position is at 10/second striker. Why would you spend so much money on him and play him in a position that’s not his best?  It also puts the Cunha links into context.

Think no matter what combo you go with our midfield will struggle in a 2.

I mean if someone can do it its Bruno and Tonali.

Both are at the top of distance covered stats. Never stops running(well if you can call what Bruno does running).
