Isak’s complete lack of professionalism and respect for his teammates, manager and the club generally is poisoning the well for me.  I’d rather see him gone at this point.

Me too but not to Liverpool and as that’s who he wants and the only viable option for him then he needs to stay.

Unpopular opinion, but I don’t give a shite where he goes as long as they cough up the asking price.  He’s acting the cunt at present, and the last thing we need is a sulking player next season.

Unlikely to happen but I'd prefer him to come out in a week or two saying he was exploring his options and wants to stay. Players are going to have their head turned but I'd sooner try and keep our world class players.

Athletic saying that Isak had been telling the club all last season that he wished that to be his last season at the club. Is that old news?

I mean, that doesn’t seem likely at all to me. Maybe his agent has been pushing that, but any interactions I’ve ever had with him or other players have painted a very very happy camp behind the scenes.

And it doesn’t line up at all with his own public comments or Eddie’s public comments. I don’t think we’d be in this position right now if we’d known he wanted to leave all along.

He's right like , just tell the prick he's saying till next summer.

Think that will happen, we just need to actually receive a fucking offer from Liverpool first to do it. Because whilst I agree with motion of serious clubs don’t sell their best players, well run clubs do sell well and if Liverpool opening bid is close to £150m, it makes us take notice and consider a sale more.

Anything around Wirtz fee, instalments / add ons, gets a swift fuck you, we can get that next summer. Isak told to get back, PR overdrive to compensate, then can plan longer term with structure in place upstairs for what life should look like post Isak. Because we sure as hell did not approach this window at start with ‘what will be like post Isak’.

This is probably the more sensible answer, but I’m just fed up with reading about him.  I’m deeply unimpressed with his refusal to travel / play.

I don’t agree at all that ‘serious clubs’ don’t sell their best players - they absolutely do and always have.  That daft cunt on talkSPORT is talking shite as per.

Whilst true, the message it would send if we sold Isak to Liverpool would be absolutely appalling.

I do give a shite. Coz if we have a soft stance then we’ll just keep getting picked off for our best players

I can’t recall many players from Man Utd under Ferguson that were sold unless he thought they were done at that club.

unless Real Madrid come calling Man City, Chelsea & liverpool don’t and Spurs make it fuckin hard for the other clubs to buy their best players

It lines up perfectly with his performances at times and his no shows at anfield and Arsenal

If thats the case why did Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool to an extent make their moves elsewhere if Isak already had one foot out the door?

We can't sell him unless we have someone already in to replace him. If he goes before we get someone in every team will have us bent over charging millions more knowing we are now desperate for their striker.

I still think there's a lot of bollocks in the press about Isak, him refusing to train, fallen out with team mates...no one knows the truth really, one thing is telling is the club haven't delt with it very well at all.

If he truth is he wanted a new contract and we just papered over it we should of had a plan in place earlier for replacing him.
