Do we think anyone at the club is trying to gauge interest from Europe? If, as shadow puppets indicated in the thread, Eddie wants him gone, we surely can't just be held to ransom by the dippers?

He’s been described as a generational talent and he is IMO but only when his head’s right. We’ve all seen him looking well off and missing tap ins and one on ones. We all thought he was injured , but now….?

Point is, he’s only worth 150 million if he’s in the mood and after what’s been said it’s unlikely he ever will be, playing for us. History is littered with highly talented sportsmen who’ve not fulfilled their potential due to poor attitude.

Whether he’s been badly advised or is just f*cking stupid matters little. It’ll require a miracle to see him back playing well for us.

I can’t believe how much of a cunt he is. Genuinely never seen it coming with him.

I would take such satisfaction in his career being cut short due to a serious injury or illness. Hopefully after we’ve already cashed in on the horrible cunt but I’m not fussed at all.

I'm developing a nasty feeling that we'll accept £130m (plus add-ons), while wasting £100m of this on overpaid Strand Larsen + Wissa.

Really hope the club stays strong, though  :weep:

we surely still have money to replace Wilson like.

So the club has had three meetings with Isak, he has turned down every offer and now the owners have said " fuck it your staying, let Howe deal with it"

I am not about to read through this entire thread since yesterday.

Is this summary fairly accurate or just wishful thinking?

It would be the right move IMO. Send him to our newly minted "bomb squad". (Our own fucking Garrancho. Joy.)

When he does leave it will not be to Liverpool and it will only happen when he puts in a transfer request.

If he put in a transfer request, would this change the club's position on transfer fee?

As I understand it, he'll be due not far off 20 mill in loyality bonuses for the length of his contract. So if he willingly forgoes that, it could be knocked off the asking price

Some time ago, someone posted something that indicated Isak would take quite a financial hit.

Don't know if the numbers were accurate. A few said the figures were quite overblown.

It might change the math, but I'd hope that it wouldn't make any difference in Liverpool's case.

It does feel like we can't have nice things.

A first cup in 70 years

champions League again

A united team and club

Only for one dick head to piss on our chips and try to pull it all apart.

I just can't understand how anyone nevermind a player of our club at this moment in time could go on strike.

I've had my moment. 48 years old and thought I was destined to never see my team win a trophy, but that Carabao Cup win was it, just pure joy. It's all I ever wanted supporting us, I've had it and it can never be taken away from me. I don't need anything else, I'll remember that to my dying day, it's honestly enough and I doubt it'll ever be topped as a singular moment.

So this cunt can sit in his house for 3 years for all I care. I'm happy. Fuck him.

Proper waster this lad. Absolute bum. Fuck you Isak.

Let's just say it like it is. What a fucking piece of shit he is. He always was kind of odd. Didn't give a fuck at times, seemed a bit distant. Team has success and is ready to press on and he fucking checks out.  There is the right way to do things and it seems an Isak way of doing things. Not  impressed. Unless the truck pulls up with a load of cash ask Liverpool if they'd like some lube before our response.

I'm getting tired of coming on here every day hitting F5 waiting for something concrete in here and in the Transfers thread, it's tiresome and anxiety inducing, we just need some kind of respite from it all, either this skinny little nonce putting his big boy pants on or a striker through the door to take the pressure off and not have us care as much until after the window closes.

Those 2 strikers would still put us in a stronger position than Wilson + Isak up top.

Said It before but I reckon he stays, but carries on with the cunt act. Half arsed training, fake injuries etc etc

If he can look reuben and whoever else in the eye and tell them he's nor staying despite them basically telling him he has too then people are underestimating how far he is willing to go with this if they think he walks in with any kind of apology and asks to play again

Window shuts Monday. He will be off with Sweden by then. Chances of an injury..

From the moment we first moved for Ekitike, I was convinced we’d see him and Isak leading the line together and driving us towards a top-three finish. Now, with the possibility of both ending up at Liverpool, it feels pretty deflating—especially when it looks like we’ll be ripped off with replacements who simply aren’t in the same league in terms of quality.

That said, while I do want Isak out of the club, I’d almost rather see him stuck here for another year than watch him walk straight into Liverpool’s front line.
