Love Wilson and admire his ego (and fucking hell, why wouldn’t he have an ego after his career and what he looks like) but I vividly remember those podcasts in our CL run where he was talking, with absolute sincerity, about the competition between them. I know fuck all about football and even I wondered at the time if one day Callum may listen back and cringe slightly.

There were people on here advocating for Wilson starting ahead of him. Or shifting him out wide or to 10 to accommodate Wilson.

When we finished 4th. The way both were playing and scoring. It wouldn’t be as ridiculous to suggest we play both, TBF. But Wilson starting ahead of Isak is just daft.

Mental when people continually wanted Isak shifting out on the left.

To be fair he played most of the second half the other night out wide left, with him cutting in at times.

He's not a typical number 9 per se, he's got the fucking lot!!!

This is just something on Twitter, but it's old news. We know the club stopped negotiating at the start of the season and decided to leave in until this summer.

Yep, it originated from GiveMeSport's Arsenal writer and was basically a rehash of last summer's news.

Aye, saw Caught Offside or Team Talk had rehashed it as new news in the last couple of days

I saw they were talking about Howe to Man City yesterday.

Proper rattled because we have our hands on a trophy and trying their best to unsettle everything about us.

I'd very much like it if he stayed here until he was into his 30's but we also need to be realistic.

If we can't hold onto him then we need to sell when his value is at it's highest. Is that now or one more epic season?

I think we can get 175m for him that would help the club massively.

We're so dependent on him because our other options are so poor. If by selling him we can bring the averages up, it will soften the blow a bit.

My gut feeling is one more season or.. if we end up top 4 then all that goes out the window.

Talkshite wheeled out Harry Redknapp this morning to tout Isak to the highest bidder and Howe to England... It does seem relentless at the minute but push comes to shove there's not many out there that can afford the fee we'd demand, next summer could be very different but that's for future us to worry about!

Considering the new manager has taken charge of his first two games within the last week, this is particularly disgraceful.

From ssn. They’re absolutely fucking relentless. It’d be funny if it wasn’t so pathetic. Imo he’s signing a new conetract here. If he was gonna’ leave he’d have gone when a) we were desperate to sell and b) not when we’ve just won a  cup and can still get in the CL. Muppets.

TBF he was talking about after the world cup and Tuchel's contract but still very disrespectful to all parties
